Kim Kardashian won’t be receiving Hollywood Walk of Fame Star

Kim Kardashian won’t be receiving Hollywood Walk of Fame Star
Even though Kim Kardashian has managed to get a couple of accolades under her belt, receiving a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame is not going to be one of them, reports The Celebrity Café.com

Many people agree that Kim’s rise to stardom is sudden, so to be considered for a star seems farfetched. In a recent interview Kardashian did with V Magazine, she said: “I think there was a quote where somebody said that reality stars will never get a star on the Hollywood Walk of Fame…I would love to break that mold.” The Celebrity Café.com quotes The Hollywood Reporter as saying that The Hollywood Chamber of Commerce stated that Kim can’t get a star because “part of criteria of being honored is receiving awards such as Emmy’s, SAG Awards, and Oscars etc. . .They have to have a career in the business of acting for five years or more.” That is not stopping Kardashian, however. She has made cameo appearances in Drop Dead Diva and she was also cast in Tyler Perry’s upcoming film, The Marriage Counselor. daily times monitor

Ranbir’s new cycle craze in ‘Barfi

Ranbir’s new cycle craze in ‘Barfi’
Ranbir Kapoor and Ileana D’Cruz are seen on cycles in several scenes of Barfi! because the film is partly set in the ‘70s when cycles were the main mode of transport. “Ranbir is an expert at cycling and enjoyed cycling while shooting, but he needed at least four people to stop his cycle after giving a shot. That’s because the bikes were old and often the brakes would often fail!” chuckles director Anurag Basu about shooting with his actors Ileana and Ranbir on cycles in the hilly regions of Darjeeling. Ileana also has some scenes where she is cycling solo but according to Basu the production unit had booked a rickshaw they would tie the cycle to and cheat shoot as Ileana was very unsure whether she could ride it. “But within two days of practicing she surprised everyone by riding her own cycle beautifully,” says Basu.Barfi! which releases on September 14 and is distributed by IMGC global, has Ranbir playing a charmer even though he can neither speak nor hear, and focuses on his bitter-sweet relationship with two beautiful young ladies, Ileana and Priyanka Chopra which sets in motion a chain of events that turns his life upside down. pr
